When you pick up your vehicle, you will be required to sign a rental agreement with the supplier of the vehicle. Your rental and use of the vehicle will be governed by the terms of the rental agreement and any other documentation or information provided to you by the supplier at the time you pick up your vehicle. The rental agreement is between you and the supplier and we will not be liable to you or to any third party in relation to the terms of the supplier’s rental agreement or any other documentation provided to you by the supplier at the time of pick up.

While we will make reasonable efforts to ensure we are representing only reputable suppliers, we make no warranty about the fitness or suitability of any third party (supplier) product or service and will not accept responsibility for the quality or fitness of any vehicle. We welcome feedback from our customers on their experience with our suppliers. We may, at our discretion, provide you with reasonable assistance in resolving any dispute you may have with a supplier.

Our total liability to you in relation to your use of this website and the information contained on this website will not exceed the dollar amount of the deposit we have received from you in relation to your booking/rental. Refunds will not be made for bookings cancelled due to inclement weather. Again, we strongly recommend that you take out travel insurance. Your use of this website is governed by the laws of New Zealand and the jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.

Booking information
To make a booking you must complete our booking form which is easy to follow and secured with the latest encryption technology. Once we receive your form, we will, subject to availability, confirm your booking by emailing you a confirmation voucher and invoice. The deposit required to secure your vehicle (as shown on the secure booking page) will only be processed on your credit card when your booking is confirmed. Please note that a 1.95% credit card or debit card surcharge will be added when your payment is processed.

A booking is confirmed when you have been emailed a confirmation voucher and at this stage the deposit is processed on your card and becomes non-refundable and any cancellation fees stated in the supplier's terms apply. Upon receipt of your confirmation, please check your details carefully and notify us immediately if there are any incorrect details, as it may not be possible to make changes at a later date.

If you are booking via phone, please make sure you have read the terms and conditions of the vehicle you wish to rent first. Our reservations consultant will ask you if you have read the terms and agree to them before proceeding. The onus is always on the renter to ensure they make themselves fully aware of the terms displayed on our website.

Amendments
Please note that some suppliers treat an amendment as a new booking and apply the rate current at the time the amendment is made to recalculate the entire booking amount (not just the days changed). If the rental period is increased, an additional deposit may be required. If the rental period is shortened which results in a reduction of the rental charges, the deposit amount will remain unchanged, and the difference between the original and revised deposit is forfeited (it cannot be used towards remaining rental charges). To request a change to a confirmed booking, please use the alterations request link on your confirmation. Any alterations are subject to availability and the approval of the supplier. In addition to the alteration policy of the supplier stated in their terms, the following charges will apply:
Car rental alterations (all charges stated in local currency):
To change dates or times that result in a recalculation of rental rates, or to change vehicles or locations: 25.00
To add or remove extras to/from a confirmed booking: 10.00
Motorhome rental alterations (all charges stated in local currency): 25.00
The alteration fee will not be charged if your alteration request is not possible.

Vehicle Capacity and fitness to drive
Under no circumstances are you permitted to carry more passengers than the vehicle you rent is legally registered to carry, and if you do your insurance may be invalidated. The number of seatbelts (and passengers) is indicated next to each vehicle on this website. Luggage capacity where shown is an indication only and we will not be responsible should you be unable to fit your entire luggage into a vehicle. It is your responsibility to choose a journey that is within your capabilities. A vehicle supplier can refuse to rent a vehicle to any person who is in their opinion unfit to drive or does not meet eligibility requirements. In such circumstances we will have no further liability to you.

Refund Policy
We are committed to providing a quality service and aim for complete customer satisfaction. In the event of cancellation, any refunds or penalties are detailed in the terms and conditions of your selected vehicle that you are asked to read and accept at time of booking. In the event you are unsatisfied with our service, please contact us within 48 hours of placing your booking or request and we will work to resolve any issues and determine if compensation is due. In the event you have completed your rental and are unhappy with your vehicle, we are happy to assist you in seeking compensation from the operator of the vehicle.

INSURANCE
EagleRider, Inc. maintains a minimum of $3 million of liability insurance coverage at all US locations. Coverage’s vary at International locations. All insurance, coverage and waivers are subject to the express terms and conditions of the rental contract and do not include coverage for injury, personal property, or damage as the result of negligence such as illegal use or use of rental while under the influence of drugs or alcohol.  
Any damages to rented motorcycle without a police report is considered Renter’s fault.

Supplemental Liability Insurance (SLI) -- 1M
SLI provides Supplemental third-party liability insurance at limits excess of state-required minimum financial responsibility limits, in an amount equal to $1,000,000.00 (one million) less the Required Minimum Amount as specified in Paragraph 13 of the Agreement attached and any other valid and collectible insurance. SLI is supplemental and secondary to all other available insurance where
permitted by law.  Customer accepts SLI in accordance with the renter’s certificate and the SLI policy, available for review upon request.  *NOTE:  Please check before you purchase to avoid duplicative coverage.

Supplemental Liability Insurance (SLI) -- 300K
SLI provides Supplemental third-party liability insurance at limits excess of state-required minimum financial responsibility limits, in an amount equal to $300,000.00 (three hundred thousand) less the Required Minimum Amount as specified in Paragraph 13 of the Agreement attached and any other valid and collectible insurance. The Limit of $300,000.00 is for third party (non-passenger) claims
and is excess to all other valid, applicable and collectible insurances, including but not limited to personal motorcycle, personal auto, credit card coverage and primary insurance policies held by the rental company. Coverage is limited to $10,000.00 for property damage liability claims.  This policy excludes coverage for passenger liability, where applicable by law, and provides a maximum limit of $10,000.00 in all other jurisdictions. Customer accepts SLI in accordance with the renter’s certificate and the SLI policy, available for review upon request. *NOTE:  Please check before you purchase to avoid duplicative coverage.

VACATION INTERRUPTION PROTECTION (VIP), DAMAGE WAIVER & INSURANCE ADDENDUM 
(*)E-VIP-ZERO is only available at participating locations and for rental periods of at least 3 days. At any time prior to Renter picking-up a Vehicle, EagleRider, at its sole discretion and for any reason, may cancel any E-VIP-ZERO protection purchased by a Renter. Upon any such cancellation, unless otherwise notified by the Renter, in writing, the Renter shall be deemed to have elected to purchase the E-VIP protection described above and EagleRider shall refund to Renter the difference between the costs of the two protections.

NOTICE: Before deciding whether to purchase any of the offerings listed below, Renter may wish to determine whether his/her/its own automobile insurance or credit card agreement provides coverage for rental vehicle damage or loss and determine the amount of the deductible under his/her/its own insurance coverage. The purchase of any Theft and Damage Waiver is not mandatory. The VIP, E-VIP or E-VIP-ZERO Theft and Damage Waiver are vacation interruption protection and are not insurance.
If accepted and paid for by the parties listed below, the additional liability insurance coverage will be excess over any applicable insurance available to such parties or any other operator, from any other source; whether primary, excess, secondary or contingent in any way. Said additional coverage will be provided under a separate policy of excess liability insurance generally described in the brochure provided to Renter prior to his execution of this Insurance & Damage Waiver Addendum and is subject to all of the conditions and limitations described in Paragraphs 13 and 14 of the Agreement entered into concurrently herewith by the Rental Company and Renter (the “Agreement”); provided, however, that notwithstanding anything contained in the Agreement to the contrary, in the event of any inconsistency or conflict between the terms of such policies for additional liability insurance coverage and the brochure and/or the Agreement, the terms of such policies shall be deemed controlling and shall supersede the terms of the brochure and/or the Agreement, which brochure and Agreement shall be deemed amended so as to be consistent with the terms of such policies. The parties executing this Insurance & Damage Waiver Addendum acknowledge, represent, warrant and agree that they have had sufficient opportunity to review the brochure and policies. Except as noted above, all insurance, coverage, waivers and/or vacation interruption protection are subject to the express terms and conditions of the Agreement and, without limitation to the foregoing, do not include coverage for injury, personal property, or damage as the result of any violation of the terms of the Agreement and/or the commission of any Prohibited Acts (as defined in the Agreement). A police report is required for all damages or accidents. All damages to rented motorcycle without a police report is considered Renter’s fault.
